Thousands of Liberians fled their country during a civil war and settled in Minnesota. This package explores the culture of the immigrants, their contributions to the Minneapolis area, and the possibilities for their future.

Groundbreaking interface functionality.

Dave Braunger, the flash designer on this project, did a number of very cool, under-the-hood things. It marks your place as you go, remembers where you were when you return, and integrates the flash navigation into the story articles in the database.

Not sure if I agree with @macloo. The "table of contents" seemed slow and cumbersome. Once I'm in a story, its not intuitive where I am in context with the other stories. I think some more thought on the ui design would communicated the story more ...
