Closer to Home
Elinor Salsman 55, of Plano, Ky., works full-time as a Realtor and takes care of her family, including her 14-year-old son and her aging parents. For eleven years, her parents, Pauline Dunn, 95, and Charlie Dunn, 92, have lived on their own in a four bedroom ranch in Bowling Green, Ky. Fortunately, they are in excellent health considering their ages. Salsman and her family had been planning to move her parents to a smaller home next to theirs soon after the first of the year. Pauline had to have emergency surgery on New Year's Day delaying the move, and causing Elinor to move in with her parents indefinitely. Pauline has fully recovered, and Elinor is now helping her parents make the final transition to their new home. More…
